2012 Recap: Steve Kinser added to his unprecedented resume with his 31^st career top-five finish in the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series since its inception in 1978 by placing fifth in the standings.

“The King” and his Bass Pro Shops team led the championship standings from much of late May through late July, and he recorded four victories to up his series-best total to 574.

In addition to wins at Williams Grove Speedway, Orange County Fair Speedway, in the Boot Hill Showdown at Dodge City Raceway Park and at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park, Kinser claimed the Morgan Cup Trophy for the Outlaws against the Pennsylvania Posse.

The 20-time series champion also finished in the top three in heat race wins and KSE Hard Charger awards, and was one of only seven drivers to record at least 100 feature laps led.
