2012 Recap: Cody Darrah finished in the top 10 in the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series for the second straight season as he registered a career-best seventh in the standings.

The reigning Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year picked up a victory in the Summer Nationals at Williams Grove Speedway, where he burst onto the national scene with a win in 2008 at the National Open.

Darrah and his SurePointMedical.com team once again had a successful National Open as he won the dash and finished third at the prestigious event. It was one of his 23 top fives, which more than tripled his total from his rookie season.

He also had podium finishes at Merced Speedway, Lakeside Speedway, Huset’s Speedway, Junction Motor Speedway and Eagle Raceway.
