Series Returns to Lake Ozark Speedway in Missouri Next Season for First Time Since 2007

ELDON,  MO — Nov. 14, 2017 —The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will return to Lake Ozark Speedway in Missouri in 2018 on Friday, May 4, which marks the first time since 2007 that the series has visited the track. The event will be the third time overall that the Outlaws will compete at Lake Ozark Speedway.

World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars to Make Inaugural Visit at Fairbury American Legion Speedway in 2018

CONCORD, NC – November 14, 2017 – After a successful half-decade of Fairbury American Legion Speedway (FALS) hosting the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series, The Greatest Show on Dirt will make its first ever visit to the ¼ mile semi-banked dirt oval on Wednesday May 30, 2018.

Outlaws Return to Farley Speedway in Iowa Next Season for First Time Since 1994

FARLEY, IA — Nov. 14, 2017 —The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will return to Farley Speedway in Iowa in 2018 on Friday, June 22, which marks the first time since 1994 that the series has visited the track. The event will be the fourth overall for the series at the now-three-eighths-mile. The Outlaws were scheduled to race at Farley Speedway in 2004, but that event fell to rain.

Ian Madsen Going Full-Time Outlaw Racing in 2018

CONCORD, NC – November 11, 2017 – It is with great excitement that the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series announces that Australian Ian Madsen will join the Series full-time in 2018. Madsen, the 2017 Knoxville Raceway Track Champion, scored his second career World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series victory during the running of the 39th Annual AGCO Jackson Nationals at the Jackson Motorplex in Minnesota in June of this year.

Outlaws to Return to Dodge City on October 20, 2018

 DODGE CITY, Kan. (November 10, 2017) – It’s time for Sprint Car racing fans to break out those 2018 calendars.  And the date can be circled for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car series return to Dodge City Raceway Park. The 2018 World of Outlaws “Boot Hill Showdown” atop the 3/8-mile DCRP clay oval is set for Saturday night, October 20.

The Greatest Show on Dirt Set to Return to Terre Haute Action Track in 2018

CONCORD, NC – November 9, 2017 – For just the second time in 12 years, the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will return to the Terre Haute Action Track in 2018. The date is scheduled for Saturday, October 13, 2018. The UMP Modifieds will be the support class for the evening.

Schatz Outruns Sweet’s Consistency, Gravel’s Explosiveness to Capture 2017 Title

CONCORD, NC – Nov. 5, 2017 – The 2017 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season saw Donny Schatz claim his ninth Series title. Schatz, who turned 40 in August, has now won five of the last six Championships and will chase his tenth title in 2018, but not without heavy resistance from David Gravel, Brad Sweet and the rest of the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series regulars.

World of Outlaws Statement on the Passing of Bob Kinser

CONCORD, NC —Nov. 4, 2017 — The World of Outlaws and DIRTcar Racing extend their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Bob Kinser who passed away today at the age of 86.

Bob Kinser was inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 1999 in honor of his outstanding achievements as a driver, with over 400 career feature wins. Bob Kinser was a true pioneer of the sport.
