World of Outlaws Visit Wilmot Raceway for the Badger 40 on July 29

WILMOT, WI — July 19, 2017 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series hits the track at Wilmot Raceway in Wisconsin on Saturday, July 29 for the running of the Badger 40. The event will mark the fifth visit to Wilmot, dating back to 2006.

David Gravel, who is third in points this season on the strength of a career-high 10 wins, was victorious at Wilmot Raceway last year to remain undefeated in World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series competition at the track. The young driver also won at Wilmot with the series in 2014. Gravel recently earned that tenth win of the season in the Brad Doty Classic at Attica Raceway Park in Ohio.

World of Outlaws Invades Hartford Speedway on July 28 for the “Battle of Michigan”

HARTFORD, MI — July 18, 2017 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series will hit the track at Hartford Speedway on Friday, July 28 for the “Battle of Michigan.” The event will mark the series eighth overall visit to the track and first since the surface was re-configured during this past off-season to a three-eighths-mile. It will also be the series only visit of the year to the state of Michigan.

5-Hour Knoxville Nationals Nears

CONCORD, NC — July 17, 2017 — When a race fan hears “Knoxville” one thing immediately comes to mind: the 5-Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals, the largest Sprint Car event held annually at Knoxville Raceway in early August, this year from August 9-12.

The small town of Knoxville that sits 40 miles southeast of the state capitol of Iowa has a population of just over 7,000 people. When the the racing industry descends on this small town, the population nearly triples for what is referred to as the “Super Bowl” of 410 Sprint Car racing at Knoxville Raceway.

Tough Test: Ironman 55 Separates the Strong from the Weak

Drivers set for physically challenging Ironman 55 at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55

CONCORD, NC — July 14, 2017 — Drivers and teams look to be the strongest of them all when the Ironman 55 is all said and done. A two-night event on Friday and Saturday, August 4 and 5 at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri is the longest Feature event of the year on the 90-plus events schedule for the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series.

Although the Series has been running at the tough bullring since 1987, it was in 2009 that a new challenge at the Pevely, MO track was born: a 55-lap feature event called the Ironman 55, a race that is longer in distance than all other Sprint car races on the schedule.

The King Gets His Crown

The King of the Outlaws, Steve Kinser Inducted into Motorsports Hall of Fame of America; Will hand out crown at Kings Royal

CONCORD, N.C. — July 13, 2017 — The “King of the Outlaws” got the call from the hall. On June 28, 2017, in front of a very distinguished list of motorsports powerhouses, Steve Kinser was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in Daytona Beach, FL.

Kinser, who had an illustrious career running in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, holds numerous records, including 20 points championships which more than doubles the amount of second-place driver Donny Schatz, who has eight. World of Outlaws vs. PA Posse at Williams Grove Speedway Summer Nationals
