KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Aug. 10, 2013 – Donny Schatz turned in one of the most impressive runs in sprint car history on Saturday night in the 53rd FVP Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway when he charged from the second row of the Last Chance Showdown to victory lane for seventh time in the past eight years.
Schatz started the A-main in 21st after winning the Last Chance Showdown and picked off car after car until he finally passed leader Brian Brown with nine laps to go in the 50-lap event. Brown held on to finish second ahead of Justin Henderson, Paul McMahan and Chad Kemenah.

PEVELY, Mo. – Aug. 3, 2013 – For the third consecutive year, Craig Dollansky has captured the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series Ironman 55 at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, earning the series-leading fifth victory of his Outlaw career at the high-banked oval south of St. Louis. SARVER, Pa. – July 16, 2013 – Donny Schatz passed Jac Haudenschild with 10 go on Tuesday night at Lernerville Speedway to capture the first of two A-mains in the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup with Daryn Pittman earning the victory in the second A-main after moving in front with 1 to go and holding off hard-charging Kyle Larson, who started dead last. Schatz was the overall champion of the event based on his victory and a seventh-place finish in the second A-main as compared to Pittman’s win and 14th-place run in the first A-main.
